Ko’olau Credit Union Spreads “Kokua” with New Service from Atando Technologies
Ko’olau Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the launch of its new "Kokua Bot" chatbot and live chat, powered by Atando Technologies. The new chatbot and live chat feature will provide members with 24/7 access to support and information about Ko’olau FCU’s accounts and services.
Kokua [koh-ku-ah] is an important concept in Hawaiian culture. It means “help”, but it goes much deeper than that. It’s deeper meaning, however, is to extend help to others without expecting personal gain. Kokua Bot is an AI-powered chatbot that uses natural language processing and machine learning to provide personalized assistance to members. The chatbot can answer member questions across over a 100 topics about accounts, loans, services and more. It can also help members with basic tasks like setting upcoming travel notices.
The new chatbot and live chat feature will provide members with 24/7 access to support and information about Ko’olau FCU. Kokua Bot also can escalate the more complex issues via the improved live chat feature that provides members with access to live customer service representatives during business hours.
